Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded via the website https://holzholz.de between Luc Wood Energy GmbH (trading as “HOLZHOLZ”, hereinafter “we”) and consumers (§13 of the German Civil Code). We deliver exclusively to consumers in Germany, within the delivery area shown by the website's delivery-area check at the time of your order.

2. Contracting Party

The contracting party is Luc Wood Energy GmbH, Hagebuttenweg 9, 01169 Dresden. Further details can be found in our Legal Notice.

3. Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the configurator does not constitute a binding offer on our part, but an invitation to make an offer. By clicking the order button in the final step of the ordering process, you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods in your cart. The purchase contract is formed once we accept your order — this occurs through a confirmation on the website and/or by email.

4. Prices and Delivery Costs

All displayed prices are final prices and include statutory VAT. The applicable delivery costs are shown transparently in the configurator and before you complete your order, and depend on the quantity ordered and the distance to your delivery address.

5. Payment

Payment is processed via our payment provider Stripe, by credit card and via any additional payment methods shown during checkout. The purchase price is due immediately upon completion of the order.

6. Delivery

We deliver with our own fleet, within the area shown as available by the delivery-area check at the time of your order. Outside our standard delivery area, we prepare an individual quote on request. Delivery dates are arranged during the ordering process; delivery is made to the kerbside or to a location on the property reachable by the delivery vehicle.

7. Retention of Title

The delivered goods remain our property until paid in full.

8. Warranty

Statutory warranty law applies. Firewood is a natural product; minor variations in shape, size, and moisture content within the stated drying class do not constitute a defect.

9. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. For details, please see our withdrawal notice.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability for damage arising from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.

11. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Should any provision of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
